You’ve probably heard of Invisalign, a popular clear aligner system that straightens teeth using invisible aligners. But did you know there are four different types of Invisalign to choose from?

Invisalign Express has been designed to help straightforward cases, where just a few tweaks are needed. If you have front teeth that are very slightly crooked or spaced, Invisalign Express is a discreet and speedy solution.

The different types of Invisalign all work in the same way: gently applying pressure to your teeth to bring them into line. Invisalign Express simply uses fewer aligners, and your treatment will take a fraction of the time.

Who’s suitable for Invisalign Express?

To find out if you’re suitable for Invisalign Express, you can visit us for a consultation with Dr. Jackie Bracken. We also offer virtual consultations if you’d prefer to meet us from home.

During your consultation, Jackie will examine your smile to determine which Invisalign brace is best for you. We’ll take a digital scan of your teeth to create a 3D smile preview so you can visualise your amazing outcome.

Invisalign Express is limited to small adjustments, so it won’t improve the way your teeth bite together. It can be a fantastic option for relapse cases if your teeth have shifted slightly after braces. (We’ll give you retainers to prevent this from happening again.)

How long does treatment take?

We complete most Invisalign Express cases within just 4–6 months. We’ll give you a series of clear aligners to wear throughout your treatment. Each set of aligners should be worn for 1–2 weeks.

As well as being incredibly discreet, Invisalign aligners are removable. This gives you the freedom to remove your aligners to eat, drink and clean your teeth. Your aligners will only work when you’re wearing them, though, so it’s essential to keep them in for at least 20 hours each day.

At the end of your treatment, we’ll fit retainers to maintain your results. Retainers are a lifelong commitment. Without them, your teeth could relapse, and we can only correct this with further treatment.
